How can I reduce anxiety without medication?

Ever since I was young, I’ve had anxiety. Sometimes it’s normal anxiety (before I have a project due, when I don’t have time to finish things), but sometimes I get it out of nowhere. I have taken medication for it in the past, but I’m not really one for taking medicine everyday. There must be another solution. Any ideas?

    different degrees.
    Some realistic ways to counter
    anxiety are:
    Hard physical activity, such as
    work and exercise programs.
    Get plenty of rest.
    Eat a balanced diet.
    Really, these things work.
